.

There is some small facts about Pat Ast:
  • Was a receptionist and clerk in a box factory when she met Andy Warhol and starred in some of his films. Her roles led to meeting the designer Halston at a party, and she was a model in his Madison Avenue store, although she weighed over 200 lbs.
  • Friend of Andy Warhol.
  • Her father was a comic who performed in the Catskills.
  • She met Halston at a party in New York, which led to a friendship, a job in his store on Madison Avenue, and a job as one of his models (in spite of the fact she weighed 210 pounds).
  • Pat attended Erasmus High School in Brooklyn, New York. She and 'Barbra Streisand' were classmates, graduating the same year.
  • Pat's beloved canine companion was an Australian Shepard named Winnie.
  • Hired for the Broadway musical "Nine", but was fired by Tommy Tune after 3 months for "trying to take over the show".
  • Was a good friend of the late Berry Berenson who died in the 9-11 tragedy. Berenson was planning Ast's 60th birthday party, which, sadly, neither would live to see.
  • Played a mean school teacher in Motley Crue's video "Smokin' In the Boys Room" which was similar to her character Edna in Reform School Girls (1986)
