Mabel Ballin entered the film business in 1917 when 'Hugo Ballin' ,her husband, was having little success with his painting career. Sheplayed quite a few leading roles at the World Film Co. and was awell-known and popular actress at the time. However, after World War Iher career momentum slowed down, and she retired from the film businessin 1925.
