Blaire Baron is an actor, playwright and theatre director. She attendedMarlborough School in Los Angeles and NYU/The New School, studyingtheatre and film. Her career began at age 18 with a guest starring rolein the second to last episode ever of Happy Days. She studied in NewYork with Actors Studio veterans Geraldine Page and Estelle Parsons,while performing a wide range of roles at Playwrights Horizons,Ensemble Studio Theatre and The Roundabout, by night and by day,playing "Kate Lang" on "The Guiding Light".

She has guest starred inover 30 television shows and has worked for A-List directors like IvanReitman, Nancy Meyers, Penny Marshall, Gary Marshall, James Bridges,Larry David and Michael Mann. Blaire recently won OutstandingAchievement in Playwrighting for The Milk Meetings (Ophelia Theatre Co,NYC). Before its New York Premiere, the Milk Meetings was a hit onHolllywood's Theatre Row, debuting in Spring of 2014. Blaire's playOutspoken: Shakespeare in Shackles has been called back for an encorerun after standing room only houses this fall on Hollywood's TheatreRow; Her short play, The Below, debuted at the 2015 Hollywood FringeFestival and became a finalist at the 2015 New York New Works Festivalin August. Blaire wrote Women In Boxes, an award-winning documentaryabout magician's assistants.

She has won numerous screen-writing awards(Atlanta, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Beverly Hills, Nicholl(semifinals) Blaire is widely known for her work as Founder/ArtisticDirector of the Los Angeles Drama Club (the youngest Shakespeare Troupein the U. S. ) for which she has received awards and honors - mostrecently from PBS as their Commuinty Champion. Now Hollywood looks forL. A.

Drama Club students when casting. . Recently 6 of her students werescouted and cast in the Indie Film, Eat Spirit Eat - Blaire was alsocast. Blaire created and produced the Documentary, Women In Boxes,about Magic assistants. The only film in which Teller Speaks on Camera.

Her goal is a permanent and solid troupe of actors in L.A.s under-served areas. She is using the performing arts discipline as prevention.
  • (October 2012) Hollywood. She runs The Shakespeare Youth Festival; she is Artistic Director of The Los Angeles Drama Club, the country's youngest Shakespeare Troupe, Miss Baron is launching Macbeth, As You Like It and Shakespeare in the City throughout L.A.
