Actress-singer, who portrayed Fiona MacLaren in the original Broadwayproduction of Lerner & Loewe's `Brigadoon' (1947). In the film Ziegfeld Follies (1945) , she sang a duet with the MetropolitanOpera tenor 'James Melton'. .

  • She first sang on radio at the age of eight. Marion was later 'discovered' by the director 'Robert Z. Leonard' , who heard her sing at a party. Leonard subsequently helped her to be signed under contract with MGM.
