Jessica Boss was born in Harlingen, Texas of Nigerian descent. In highschool, she studied medicine in hopes to become a medical doctor. Inthe eleventh grade, she had two elective options: art or theater. Because she only had the ability to draw stick figures, she decided totake theater, and to her surprise, fell in love with it! Her teacherencouraged her to keep working hard because he saw a spark.
That sparksoon turned into a decision to quit medicine and pursue a career inacting. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Jessica headedto Los Angeles, and booked commercial and print jobs, web series, andshort films. She now has her focus set on producing her own originalworks such as "The Runner" her screenplay about an Olympic sprinter whostruggles with her moral dilemma of using performance-enhancing drugsin order to win the gold, and therefore the love of her father. .
