Cait Brasel is a versatile, independent actress known for her strong,empathetic and disturbing on screen performances. A staple in theburgeoning Oklahoma City film scene, she has appeared in everythingfrom independent Sci-Fi thrillers and Av-ant-Garde art films, tointernationally released foreign films. On the stage, Cait has playedsuch roles as Gwendolyn Pigeon in Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple", andCountess Olivia in William Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night", among manyother well known productions. In college, Cait studied Theater Arts andFilm and Video Production where she was mentored under Academy Awardwinning producer Gray Frederickson (The Godfather & Apocalypse Now) andEmmy Award winning documentary filmmaker Greg Mellott.
She has gone onto work on over 100 short films, non-profit videos, commercials andmusic videos. The subtle truth Cait brings to her roles; from herheartbreaking performance as Kylie in the international Nepali feature'Raghav', to her award winning performance as an abused, mentallychallenged girl in the short film 'Kay Kay', continues to buildrecognition and interest from a progressively larger audience. Cait hasalso written and directed several short films, and is a recordingmusician, singer and songwriter with an album set to release Spring2015. Her latest anticipated film is the independent Sci-Fi thrillerElectric Nostalgia, which will release in festivals throughout 2015. Dedicated to stretching the boundaries and exploring her craft, Cait isalways looking for new, challenging roles.
