June Brown served in the Wrens and was classically trained at the OldVic Drama School. She has enjoyed a long career in the theatre,television and the cinema. The actor 'Nigel Hawthorne' describedher as "one of the most beautiful creatures I've seen on stage" afterseeing her performance as Ibsen's "Hedda Gabler". She has appeared as"Lady Macbeth" opposite 'Albert Finney' and has directed "DoubleD" at the 1993 Edinburgh Festival.
